Certificate in Chamber Management | Operations & Finance


This course provides an overview of fundamental concepts around the operations of chambers of commerce and other nonprofit organizations. Our expert presenters provide insight into the budget and finance basics contributing to a financially healthy nonprofit and share best practices around human resource management and organizational culture. Presented by Mike Gellman, CPA, CGMA, CFSO, Fiscal Strategies 4 Nonprofits, LLC; Pamela J. Green, MBA, SPHR, PCC, ICC; and Gia Wiggins, Gia Wiggins, PhD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP.

This course includes approximately two and one-half hours of content and provides support for skills and competencies within the Chamber Body of Knowledge areas of  Financial Management and Human Resources. Short assessments are included after each presentation. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion, shareable social media graphics and three Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) points. Assignment and assessment grading, along with certificate awards, take place every Friday for all tasks completed within the preceding week.
