treatment for pregnant and breastfeeding women with opioid use disorder and
barriers to care.
Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Contrast methadone and buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder.
- Counsel pregnant women receiving pharmacotherapy regarding neonatal withdrawal, pain management, contraception, and breastfeeding concerns.
- Understand how stigma and punitive policies serve to harm women and children by preventing them from obtaining necessary health care.
