Small World, Big Money

(December 11, 2019)  Philanthropy has existed since the beginning of time. And North America certainly didn’t invent fundraising. It’s a global world. What happens elsewhere impacts – or better yet – can improve what all of us do at home. Lots of innovation happens in other parts of the world. But are we paying attention? What can we learn from our colleagues in Asia, Africa or South America – to make us better fundraisers?

Join Ligia Peña and Simone Joyaux on a trip around the globe. Let’s share philanthropic customs that tie us together. Highlight resources that strengthen all fundraising everywhere. And make an even bigger difference!

At the end of the session, participants will:

      • Have a greater understanding of how knowledge of global philanthropy can improve their daily practice.
      • Better understand why learning about fundraising practices elsewhere can give them insights into prospective donors.
      • Leave inspired and armed with new fundraising resources to foster continued learning.
