(September 4, 2019) Donor-advised
funds (DAFs) have been around for decades, but in recent years these funds have
become one of the fastest growing vehicles in philanthropy.
DAFs
have been increasingly used by donors and offered through community foundations
and national DAF sponsors as a new and attractive way donors can make giving
decisions. To make sure that you and your nonprofit are proactive and
capitalizing on this donor-friendly giving vehicle, AFP International will host
an interactive webinar that will help participants better understand:
•
What is a DAF and how do they work?
• What are the benefits of DAFs and who is using them?
•
How can you properly identify and acknowledge a gift through a DAF?
• What can your nonprofit do to actively solicit and cultivate donors
using DAFs?
