CAP TODAY/Thermo Fisher Scientific Webinar: Genomic profile availability impact on NSCLC patient outcomes in real world study and daily practice

Description

Genomic profile availability impact on NSCLC patient outcomes in real world study and daily practice

Why should you register now for this webinar?

  • Presenters discuss a real-world study cohort utilizing electronic health records to assess the impact of the availability of genomic profiles on guiding first-line therapy and patient outcomes. They found that the availability of molecular genotyping results before first-line therapy was associated with significantly better overall survival, and that concurrent tissue and plasma testing was associated with higher odds of availability of results before first-line therapy.
  • In this webinar, representing multidisciplinary perspectives, they will discuss the results of this study as well as the implementation of genomic profiling at their institution, aiming to better achieve timely genomic profiles to guide first-line therapy decisions.
  • Moderated by: Bob McGonnagle, Publisher, CAP TODAY
  • Presenters: Melina Marmarelis, MD, MSCE, and Salvatore Fortunato Priore, MD, PhD
What will this webinar empower you to do?
  • Understand the direct impact of genomic profiling on patient outcomes
  • Learn how the speakers optimized their in-house genomic profiling processes including the implementation of rapid NGS
  • See preliminary evidence of the positive impact of concurrent liquid and FFPE tissue biopsy on the patient management process
  • Hear patient case studies and examples of cross functional care coordination in
multidisciplinary teams, facilitated by the availability of in-house NGS
CAP TODAY does not endorse any of the products or services named within.
The webinar is made possible by a special educational grant from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
