*Ethics Alert! This session is approved for 1 CCM Ethics CE.

The future of case management requires innovation and adaptation to the rapidly changing environment in which we live and work today. This includes the implementation and incorporation of remote work environments in order to advocate for and meet the needs of our client populations, while also being mindful of the individualized needs of the professional case manager workforce. Specifically, remote work opportunities leverage technological advancements in order to promote advocacy and continuity of care for clients, while allowing workplaces to build and maintain cohesive networks of trained and experienced staff that are flexible and unrestricted by physical location. The myriad of benefits of case management remote work environments will be discussed as well as potential obstacles case managers may encounter, including communication and ethical considerations when implementing remote work environments. Leave with key takeaways including standard work solutions to ensure that remote work opportunities are embraced without hesitation as the future of case management innovation.
