FSMB Webinar: Physician Discipline and the Role of CME on Reducing the Risk of Recidivism (Dec. 12, 2022)

This activity was originally recorded on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. The activity EXPIRED on December 13, 2023, and is no longer available for CME credit, but the recording is still available for viewing.

About the Webinar
Outcomes of physician discipline can have a profound impact on public safety and the ability of a physician to practice, especially when a physician has a repeated history of incompetent or inappropriate behavior. State medical boards can require continuing medical education (CME) as part of a physician’s remediation in the disciplinary process. This webinar will highlight physician discipline and present new research on how CME required by medical boards affects the likelihood of physicians receiving additional discipline.
