In this course, join Brandon Chasteen of Chasteen Land & Title, LLC as we go over the basic skills every abstractor and examiner should know to accurately map legal descriptions. Our focus will be on mapping situations typical to Indiana. We will spend some time on the various types of mapping a searcher might encounter, and the basic knowledge they need to tackle various challenges related to mapping. We will also address why these skills are necessary, and what programs are available to assist in the field and office.
