AP ISMPP U - Congress Trends in the APAC Region

Thank you

The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant disruptions to congresses worldwide, resulting in cancellations or changes in the way they were run. During the first few years of the pandemic, there was a noticeable shift towards virtual/hybrid congresses. As the world moves beyond the acute phase, congresses need to evolve to meet the changing needs of their attendees. In turn, attendees will also need to adapt their approach to congresses to ensure effective dissemination of their findings. In this webinar, the speakers will describe how the congress landscape has changed in the Asia Pacific region and the trends and developments to expect moving forward.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this session attendees will

  • Understand how congresses have changed over the last few years, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Appreciate some of the challenges and opportunities that are specific to congresses in the APAC region
  • Understand what trends/developments to expect for APAC congresses in the near future
  • Discuss some best practices when planning for APAC congresses
