This ISMPP U webinar is derived from the ISMPP Asia Pacific Education Committee: The Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines aim to help organizations and publication professionals maintain ethical practices in the publication of industry-sponsored biomedical research. The GPP 2022 update has reorganized and augmented many of the principles in prior GPP iterations, while also adding recommendations about new topics reflecting the latest advances in the industry. These updates present new challenges and opportunities for stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This webinar will provide an opportunity to understand the background and rationale for some of the most important updates in GPP 2022 along with practical guidance on applying GPP 2022 in the APAC region. The speakers will also participate in a panel discussion to answer some of the most pressing questions related to GPP 2022 in the APAC context.
