Taxpayers always want to reduce their unpaid IRS tax debts -- but do they truly qualify? This session will discuss the differences between the various types of offers in compromise and how to determine if the taxpayer qualifies for one.

Learning Objectives:
•Describe the offer in compromise process from submission to acceptance or rejection.
•Describe the differences between offers in compromise based on doubt as to collectibility versus effective tax administration.
•Explain what taxpayers qualify for doubt as to collectibility or effective tax administration offers in compromise.
