If you’re a tax specialist and are looking to take the next step in your career, you might want to consider the EA designation. If you didn’t already know, that’s the highest credential awarded by the IRS – but you can become one without even completing an undergraduate degree, unlike it’s counterpart: the Certified Public Accountants (CPA).

With over 35 years’ experience in the Enrolled Agent Exam Prep industry, Sean oversees student coaching for Surgent’s Exam Prep product line.  Using a “small steps” approach that embraces Surgent’s adaptive learning technology, Sean helps students to create manageable study plans to work within their busy schedules, helping them to prepare for and pass their exams without having to put life on hold.

Sean studied Small Business Administration at Northern Arizona University and holds a post-grad certificate in Total Quality Management from the University of Phoenix. Sean lives in Colorado with his wife Kim and is a father of four as well as a grandfather.
Continuing Education
This course does not qualify for IRS Continuing Education Hours. NAEA reports IRS CE on a monthly basis. If you have not received your CE Hours in your IRS PTIN Account by the end of the month after receiving the certificate, please contact NAEA at education@naea.org. IRS Requirements for live webinars require at least 50 minutes per hour of attendance and answering 3 out of the 4 polling questions. For on-demand, you must watch the full video, answer the knowledge check, and pass the assessment with a score of 70% or above. No partial CE is offered.
