This webinar will provide an overview of:
- The NIH Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy, which went into effect on January 25, 2023;
- An associated resource, "Supplemental Information to the NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing: Responsible Management and Sharing of American Indian/Alaska Native Participant Data;"
- Considerations and best practices for the responsible and respectful management and sharing of AI/AN participant data under the NIH DMS Policy; and
- Tribally-focused data sharing plans that illustrate how to operationalize the flexibilities that have been built into the DMS to respect Tribal sovereignty.
