Practical tools for graphic design are always great to have handy, especially in the library setting. In this installment of SLA-LMD's "Tech Tidbits" Series, we are going to learn all about Canva from Sam Russell. 

Sam recently became the Library and Archives Collection Manager at Bok Tower Gardens. Before joining Bok Tower Gardens, he worked on a metadata contract for the Government Publishing Office. Sam has been actively involved in SLA after having been the Program Chair for the Washington DC Community for multiple years. Sam was also on the Technology Advisory Committee for the past year and a half. It was through his work as the Program Chair that he gained a lot of experience working with Canva as a tool for creating graphics to promote events.
