SRNT is pleased to announce the launch of its first educational certificate program: the Smoking Cessation Research Certificate Program. This curriculum is offered free of charge to SRNT members and to non-members who create free accounts with SRNT.
The goal of this certificate program is to provide introductory-level training on research methods suitable for smoking cessation treatment research, along with relevant background information. Please note that this program is not intended to provide tobacco treatment training.
This training was developed for:
- frontline workers in lower- and middle-income countries who want to understand research fundamentals
- undergraduate students looking for certificates to make their graduate program applications stand out
- graduate students, medical school students and residents interested in understanding or conducting smoking cessation research
- postdoctoral fellows and members of transdisciplinary teams wishing to enhance their understanding of nicotine and tobacco research.
