BNSF Hazmat Virtual Reality Module 1: Initial Incident Size Up

Course Overview
Build your confidence and knowledge with BNSF hazmat online training materials, produced to help you safely and effectively respond to railway hazmat incidents. The BNSF Hazmat Team has added virtual reality to their training tools for first responders.

Module 1 - Initial Incident Size Up: This virtual reality training module is designed for community first responders and emergency management personnel with a focus on “Sizing-Up a Railroad Hazmat Incident – First Safe Steps”.

  • Describe how to conduct an initial scene size up of a railroad hazmat incident.
