VA Insurance Continuing Education: Changes to Insurance Licensing & CE Compliance Beginning January 1, 2021 (CE#223011)

Following this class, the participant should have a basic understanding of the new CE requirements that took effect on January 1, 2021. The changes mandated by SB1222 passed during the 2019 Virginia General Assembly and are the requirements for license renewal and continuing education compliance beginning in 2021. If you are a licensed title agent in Virginia, you do not want to miss this informational session.

Richard TozerRichard Tozer is the Manager of Agent Licensing for the Virginia Department of Insurance where he oversees systems and operations for insurance licensing examinations, license applications, renewals, and continuing education for 345,000 insurance agents and agencies. His duties include managing two teams of Insurance Licensing Examiners, Insurance Code review, implement legislative changes, training and coaching, project management, process improvement, change management, and strategic planning.


This course is approved for 1-hour of CE credits. If you received credit for the live version of this course, you cannot receive credit for the online version even though the course numbers differ.
