This multi-part course will introduce core concepts required for a successful antimicrobial stewardship program while emphasizing the essential need for partnership between the clinical microbiology lab, the infectious disease physician and the infectious disease pharmacist. Participants will be able to tailor these principles to assist in developing new programs at their institution or maximizing the impact of their existing programs for use in clinical laboratories and/or clinical practice. P.A.C.E.®, California and Florida accreditation will be provided for the course.

All presentations are recognized by the California Department of Health and Florida Department of Health and qualify for California and Florida CE credit toward license renewal.
