Abstract: As the demand for large capital projects continues to grow, the ability for the construction industry to deliver them has remained constant. This has resulted in a growing gap between the demand and supply of infrastructure such as transportation, energy, and resources. This presentation will review how the evolution of construction technology, from the early adoption of desktop-based scheduling to the advent of machine learning insights, will transform capital project delivery in order to close this gap and ensure project are delivered with more predictable outcomes.
