OVERVIEW
As the number of cyber-attacks increase dramatically, the need to secure
networks has never been greater. While this can be alarming, simple daily
steps can be taken to maintain the privacy of patient data and protect
practices against cyber-attacks.

This 90-minute webinar will help participants develop the knowledge and
skills needed to master the core concepts in cyber security and HIPAA as
they pertain to practices.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
• Explain what a risk assessment is and describe why it is necessary.
• Define cyber security and explain the need for its implementation in healthcare.
• Apply simple steps to protect OMSs and their practices against cyber-attacks and protect their patient data.
