Traci Speed, MD
Dr. Speed is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences with Johns Hopkins Medicine. She is a psychiatrist in Baltimore, Maryland and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area including Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Sayed E. Wahezi, MD
Dr. Wahezi is the Program Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He is a member of the AAPM Membership Committee and Board of Directors of the Association of Pain Program Directors (APPD), exercising the strengths of both to advance trainee education and awareness of AAPM.

Salman Hirani, MD
Dr. Salman Hirani an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine in the division of Pain Medicine at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR and the Director of Innovation for AAPM. Dr. Hirani has dedicated his career to the pursuit of innovating and helping incubate new technologies whose aim is to improve the function of people living with pain due to cancer, disabilities, stroke, TBI, SCI, and various musculoskeletal conditions. He has been the co-founder of multiple healthcare companies including a Y-Combinator backed startup where he helped raise millions of dollars in venture capital to help improve patient care. Dr. Hirani also founded and launched the AAPM x MIT Hacking Medicine Innovation Challenge. Dr. Hirani partnered with MIT Hacking Medicine to create the first of its kind pitch competition where the companies with novel approaches to treating pain received prizes to help grow their companies and partner with AAPM on expanding their reach. Dr. Hirani has been the Grand Prize winner of MIT Hacking Medicine's Grand Hack and has been an invited speaker at Harvard Business School, MIT, SXSW (South by Southwest), and the Clinton Global Initiative, and is dedicated to creating access and bridging health disparities for underserved populations through research and implementation of innovative technologies in the healthcare arena.
