She has more than 30 years’ experience in the field of atomic spectroscopy, with 28 in the pharmaceutical industry. Nancy has taught short courses on the pharmaceutical application of atomic spectroscopy at the Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry, the EAS, Pittcon, AAPS and for the USP. She is a USP volunteer (chair of the elemental impurities advisory panel and chair of the chemical analysis expert committee). Nancy has won the NJBAR Outstanding Women in Science Award, the BMS Chemistry Leadership Award, the BMS BMSIARC Award for Outstanding Contribution to Analytical Chemistry, USP Award as member of the Elemental Impurities Advisory Panel and also as a member of the Water for Pharmaceutical Purposes committee.
