HVACR contractors, technicians, and any industry professionals interested in learning the safety, technical aspects, proper handling, and use of A2L refrigerants in a residential setting. ACCA’s program released in January 2024 is based on the ASHRAE Standards 15 (2019), 15.2 (2022), and 34 (2019) and UL Safety Standards 60335-2-40 (2019), and 60335-2-89 (2019), which provides an introduction to the new refrigerant; instruction on how to handle it safely; and reviews tools that will be needed to work on equipment with A2L refrigerants. Each student enrolled will receive the full course, assorted handouts, a certificate upon course completion, and a digital badge via BadgeCert.
