With childcare and school closures this spring and the uncertainty about what school and childcare will look like this fall, there has been increased attention to the importance of childcare in economic recovery. During this webinar, Rob Grunewald, an economist with the Minneapolis Federal Reserve, will examine how COVID-19 has impacted the childcare industry, the importance of quality care for infants and toddlers, and the ripple effects of these impacts on the workforce. Katy Brooks, CEO of the Bend Chamber (Ore.), will discuss the chamber's work on childcare and provide some ideas on how to get started with this work.
