Inclusive Initiatives for Economic and Workforce Development

In 2020, the Indy Chamber, intent on improving the inclusivity of its incentive process, launched a new economic incentive bridging opportunity with access. Leadership focused on providing incentives to companies that have better wages, better benefits and provide jobs with long-term potential, meant to break the cycle of generational poverty and create more equitable growth across the city. Today, their Inclusive Incentives program not only insists on jobs with family-sustaining pay, but also making them more accessible by improving education and training, transportation and childcare. Learn how the Indy Chamber has sparked community-wide change through this innovative economic development initiative.
