Certificate in Chamber Management | Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

The chamber industry has begun a more intentional examination around diversity, equity and inclusion in their organizations and communities. This course provides a starting point for chamber professionals seeking to learn more and make effective changes around DEI in their work. Gain awareness and understanding of the differences between diversity, equity, and inclusion, how DEI is tied to economic growth, and ways chambers, like yours, are engaged in impactful work around DEI. Presented by Amy Shields, Executive Director, ACCE Foundation and Vice President, Programs; Kuma Roberts, IOM, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, Arrowhead Consulting; and chamber industry peers.

This course includes approximately 2 hours of content and provides support for skills and competencies within the Chamber Body of Knowledge areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Short assessments are included after each presentation. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion, shareable social graphics and three Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) points. Assignment and assessment grading, along with certificate awards, take place every Friday for all tasks completed within the preceding week.
