Contributors Scott Hall Scott Hall is the Senior Vice President for Civic and Community Initiatives at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. In his role, Scott is engaged in day to day work on the KC Chamber’s Big 5 initiatives – five big ideas to make Greater Kansas City the best place to live, work, start and grow a business. He also oversees the work on the KC Chamber’s “Healthy KC” project, an initiative to make Greater Kansas City a destination for healthy living. For his work Scott has been recognized as a “Rising Star” and one of the “100 People Making Kansas City a Better Place” by KC Magazine. He and a team of KC Chamber members were recognized by the Northland Coalition as the Outstanding Partner in Prevention in 2017 for their regional work on local tobacco cessation policies. Prior to joining the KC Chamber, Scott was an attorney at the law firm of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh L.C. His practice area was commercial real estate with a special emphasis on economic development. In this capacity, he was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2013. A Kansas City area native, Scott received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis and his JD and MBA from the University of Kansas. He and his wife Suzy have four children - John, Katie, Mary Jane and Christopher.
