    I have been a chamber leader in Whatcom County since 2006 and have proudly served the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2014. As President/CEO of this organization, I am responsible for the overall management and direction of the organization and its staff. I also advocate for our members and serve as a community convener — someone who facilitates and engages in conversations about policies that impact the economic health of our region.

  • Ananda Sweet

    Ananda Sweet is the Vice President of the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber of Commerce. In this role she oversees the Chamber’s public policy work, government affairs, political engagement, fund development, and workforce development programs from cradle to career. Ananda’s leadership in the Chamber’s programmatic work has focused on building cross sector partnerships and creating opportunities for collaboration with local private, public and non-profit sectors to support workforce development, including programs that promote early childhood development investment and family-friendly workplace policies, while educating stakeholders on the ROI for current and future workforce investment.

    Ananda is a lifelong resident of Northern California and moved to Sonoma County soon after receiving a BA from UC Berkeley in 1995. She has over 20 years of program management experience. Ananda currently serves as Chair of the Sonoma County Workforce Investment Board and serves on the Cradle to Career Sonoma County Operations Team.

    Ananda lives in Santa Rosa with her husband and son and has two adult daughters.
