Incorporating diversity, equity and inclusion into all we do takes time and practice. At times we get stuck in conversations and are unsure of how to start making our workplaces and communities inclusive and equitable. These conversations though are critical and lay much of the foundation needed to change policy, practices, processes and mindsets. How can we move from talk to commitment and hold ourselves, organizations and leadership accountable? Moderated by Marvin DeJear of the Greater Des Moines Partnership, join this roundtable call to discuss what action means and where to start.

Marvin is an astute, innovative, senior manager with 15+ years of broad experience in executive Leadership, integrated Service Delivery, system administration, contract administration, commercial renovation administration, government operations, and financial management. Marvin has expert ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. He is analytical problem solver with proven success creating career pathways for individuals and families. He is an effective change agent, passionate achiever and consensus builder with distinguished management experience resulting in community and corporate success. Marvin DeJear holds a BA in Entrepreneurship and Strategy and a Master of Business Administration from Iowa State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education, Community College Leadership from Iowa State University.
