Dani grew up as a military kid, moving to a new city, state, or country every three years. When asked where she’s from, she likes to respond, “I’m from everywhere!" After living in Germany for several years, she moved back to the United States where she attended the University of Arkansas and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatrical State Management.

She spent 5 years working as a Stage Manager in the theatrical industry and has called Kansas City her home for the last 6 years. She likes to joke that this is the longest place she has ever lived. After a career shift due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she is now the Events Manager for the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.

At the KC Chamber Dani and her Director, Laura Dryden, are responsible for over 50 events a year, ranging from networking events, workshops, and award ceremonies to Kansas City’s most recognized annual events, such as Power of Diversity, Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon, and Annual Dinner.
Dani and her husband, Colin Bennett, have been married for three years and now live in Waldo with their black lab Maxwell and two kittens, Wax and Wayne.
