Description: This session will introduce you to the family physician's role in health care policies to push an agenda to improve health. We will cover the different ways we can address social determinants of health and health inequities. We will discuss the ways physicians work with patients and how that translates into improving our healthcare system. We will provide a list of different ways to get involved and encourage students and new physicians to do so.
