  • State the definition of hypertension and present bp guidelines
  • Complications of hypertension
  • Review different classes of antihypertensives
  • Evaluate cases and discuss approaches to treatment
Chronic Kidney Disease
This session will allow participants to understand their role in CKD management and when to refer to nephrology.

Learning Objectives:
  • Review the incidence and epidemiology of chronic kidney disease
  • Define CKD based on GFR
  • Recognize formulas to determine renal function
  • Discover indications for referral to nephrology for CKD
