STIs and Hepatitis C
This session provides a quick refresher on hepatitis C. In the end, I hope more primary care doctors will feel comfortable treating certain cases of hepatitis C if they already do not over specialist referral.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a screening for patients for hepatitis C and interpret results.
- Discover how to complete appropriate workups for patients with a positive test prior to treatment.
- Recommend treatment options to patients.
- Counsel patients regarding diagnosis and future risks.
