In recognition of March 31 being International Transgender Day of Visibility, this discussion will focus on the healthcare experience of transgender individuals and how it has evolved over the years, specifically for those in the military. As physicians, it is important to understand the unique healthcare needs and challenges faced by transgender patients, and this discussion will provide valuable insights from experts and advocates in the transgender community. These leaders are national speakers and have served in various military branches nationally and internationally. By recognizing International Transgender Day of Visibility, the discussion aims to promote awareness and understanding of the unique healthcare needs and challenges faced by the transgender community and encourage support for their continued progress and success.
