Strategies for Women's Health Care Providers, on Thursday, July 11, 2019, 1:00 PM-2:00 PM ET, 10:00 AM-11:00 AM PT.
This webinar, free and open to all, will

care providers to follow to care for women with perinatal mood and anxiety
disorders. Speakers will emphasize the critical steps necessary to establish an

critical considerations, such as bipolar disorder, when considering medication
management.
Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
2. Outline how to evaluate illness severity including intrusive thoughts and risk of harm to self or others.
3. Describe the risks of treated versus untreated perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and evidence-based non-pharmacologic options.
4. Describe when pharmacotherapy is indicated, how to select and initiate medication treatment, and how to adjust that treatment as needed based on patient response.
Following the live presentation, the webinar will be archived on ACOG’s Depression and Postpartum Depression webpage for convenient viewing. The archived webinar will not provide CME credit.
