  2. Utilize new diagnosis and procedure codes effective in 2024 and bill the codes to receive payment from private and public payers.
  3. Participate in ACOG advocacy efforts related to payment, administrative burden and practice management.

Webinar #1: Payment Advocacy in 2024
Presented by: Lisa Satterfield, MS, MPH, CAE, CPT

This 80-minute presentation will outline the work of the Committee on Health Economics and Coding and opportunities for ACOG members to advocate for improved payment from public and private payers. There will be an overview on how to participate in surveys that determine the values of procedure codes. Instructions for ACOG members to request new diagnostic and procedure codes will be shared, and submitting questions related to coding, health payers, and denied claims will be demonstrated.


Webinar #2: 2024 Coding Updates
Presented by: Kehinde Taiwo, MS, CPPM, COC, CPC

This 40-minute presentation will outline new diagnostic and procedural codes that go into effect in 2024. The webinar will include clinical scenarios developed by members of the Committee on Health Economics & Coding and translated for correct coding and billing health plans.


Webinar #3: 2024 Policy Updates
Presented by: Erin Alston, MS, MPH and Taylor Platt, MPH

This 60-minute presentation will provide an overview of 2024 policies from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services that will directly affect the management of physician practices. Topics include payment policies, documentation, data privacy, prior authorization, surprise billing and quality measurement requirements.
