In 2020 ACOG launched Coding On-Demand for obstetrician-gynecologists to provide comprehensive coding and billing courses available when YOU want them.

The courses have been updated and new courses added, presented by physician members of the Committee on Health Economics and Coding (CHEC) and expert ACOG staff. This module includes:

Topics reflect the frequently asked questions ACOG receives through the Payment Advocacy and Policy Portal.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the requirements for correct code selection
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement appropriate documentation to ensure effective reimbursement
  • Identify the relationship between diagnostic and procedural coding
  • Discuss the common coding mistakes and the risks of inaccurate coding and billing practices
