Effective Clinical Teaching Strategies

Clinical educators must successfully manage the needs of students as well as with those of persons seeking care. Yet, time constraints often make this challenging. Spending extra time with any one student or individual seeking care means there is less attention for others in the clinic. Given these challenges, how do you effectively teach in the clinical setting?

Join us for this free webinar to explore teaching strategies that will help increase your efficiency and effectiveness as a clinical educator. Specifically, we will examine feedback techniques that encourage independent thinking, reflection and growth among students.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore the basic principles and domains of clinical teaching
  • Apply techniques that promote student critical thinking in the clinical setting
  • Discuss constructive feedback methods in the clinical setting
