Innovative Approaches for Mentoring in Scholarly Research and Writing

Future oral health leadership requires scholarly research and publication. However, faculty often find themselves in scholarly mentorship roles with limited knowledge and prior experience. Further compounding the issue, students are frequently unprepared for the demands of scholarship. This webinar will address these challenges and provide participants with the strategies they need to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. Attendees will learn to use essential communication and feedback methods and apply innovative learner-centered practices when mentoring.
