This workshop is aligned to AEA’s Competencies and Guiding Principles as follows:
The e-study, aligned with AEA's Competencies and Guiding Principles, equips participants with essential skills and integrates TRI-E, enriching AEA's five domains with a focus on harm reduction, inclusion, and equity. Grounded in safety, integrity, and equity, the e-study emphasizes equity as its guiding principle and employs a trauma and resiliency-informed approach to operationalize this value. It should be acknowledged that many institutions guiding principles and competencies are still very much rooted in inequity, colonialism, etc. This workshop has been designed for participants to recognize this inherent issue and mitigate it as much as possible.
