2018 Epilepsy Specialist Symposium | Intracranial EEG in the 21st Century

This symposium will examine the current methods in intracranial EEG as well as advanced and novel analysis methods of intracranial EEG for seizure onset localization using ictal and interictal markers. The program is designed to educate clinicians about determining the seizure onset zone and the area of resection using intracranial EEG. It is in a lecture format.

Learning Objectives

Following participation in this activity, learners will be able to:
  • Identify indications for intracranial EEG recordings
  • Examine the risks and benefits of S-EEG versus grid recordings
  • Comprehend and identify computerized methods of intracranial EEG analysis
  • Identify distinct intracranial seizure onset patterns
  • Determine the area of resection based on intracranial recordings
