CME Primer

About This eModule
The mission of the American Epilepsy Society (AES) is to advance clinical, research, educational, and advocacy efforts on behalf of persons with epilepsy. The cornerstone of these efforts is in high-quality programming that has a global impact. To that end, fair and balanced content without bias is essential. Additionally, presentation techniques and materials need to be top-notch in order to maximize effective dissemination to a broad audience.

The CME Primer is a set of guidelines for designing and developing AES educational activities that will award continuing medical education (CME) credit. This primer is organized into two sections: first, it will describe the CME guidelines and review process, and second, it will outline the best practices for creating an effective presentation.
