There is currently a limited understanding regarding patient selection for laser ablation versus standard resection surgery. This webinar will focus on patient selection based on pre-surgical workup, intracranial EEG findings, risk assessment of post-LITT acute complications, and long-term cognitive decline.

Learning Objectives
•Discuss the clinical experience on patient selection for LITT in temporal versus extra-temporal, lesional versus nonlesional epilepsy cases, and apply this experience to your epilepsy surgery clinical practice.
• Review clinical evidence on Post-LITT related seizure freedom rate, neurocognitive decline, LiTT failure rate, and yield of repeat LITT.
