About This Webinar
The number of epilepsy-associated gene mutations has doubled over the last six years and will likely continue to grow. Despite this growing evidence and the fact that genetic mutations can have a significant impact on the treatment and outcome of epilepsy syndromes, genetic testing is underutilized within the epilepsy community.

This webinar helps learners establish familiarity with testing modalities, identify patients who would benefit from genetic testing, determine what types of genetic changes can help to explain epilepsy syndromes, and choose the appropriate type of genetic testing for patients with suspected genetic epilepsy to improve epilepsy patient care and outcomes.
