Description Contributors Jennifer Hopp, M.D Jennifer Hopp is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of the Epilepsy Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. My clinical and research interests are in the area of psychological and social factors that affect patients with epilepsy, surgical treatment of epilepsy, women’s issues and epilepsy and EEG in neurocritical care. I am interested in the comorbidities that affect patients with epilepsy such as depression and anxiety. I also currently serve as Director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Site PI for the Critical Care EEG Monitoring Research Consortium, and for other clinical trials of medications used in the treatment of status epilepticus in the ER and in the intensive care unit.
