Renée Shellhaas, M.D., M.S.
Renée Shellhaas, MD, MS, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. She received her MD from the University of Michigan and completed residency in Pediatric Neurology and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Following her fellowship, she returned to the University of Michigan, where she joined the faculty and completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis at the UM School of Public Health. Dr. Shellhaas’ clinical practice and research focus on neonatal brain monitoring and early life epilepsy. Her research is funded by NIH, PCORI, the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Foundation, the American Sleep Medicine Foundation, and the University of Michigan's Charles Woodson Pediatric Research Fund.
