Chad Carlson, M.D.
Chad Carlson, MD is an Associate Professor of Neurology and the Co-Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is the Program Director for the Neurology Residency as well as the Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy Fellowships. His clinical interests focus on the treatment of epilepsy and, in particular, treatment resistant epilepsy through invasive and non-invasive means. His research interests include improved classificaiton of treatment resistant epilepsy patients to predict outcomes prior to surgical intervention, the utilization of non-invasive and invasive imaging and electrophysilogy to better identify functional cortex and the ictal onset zone, and the development of new resources to teach residents and fellows.
