This is the only cold-calling training in the US for Development Officers. Somehow it's just assumed that we can call wealthy philanthropists and they will just pick up the phone. Engaging the right prospects, individual major gifts prospects but also foundation and corporate prospects is very difficult and seldom taught. We will study the key aspects of getting the first appointment with a cold prospect - messages, email, voicemail, tone and more.
