    Jo Miller, GPC, SMS is the ownerand principal of J Miller & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing grants, social media marketing, program design, team development, and online communications. She is the founder and Managing Director of SmartEGrants, a professional development and training organization. She has more than 25 years experience in grants and management in the nonprofit and public-sector. Jo has worked in housing, health, disabilities, energy, and community development agencies and organizations throughout the country.
    Jo serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Grant Professionals Association. She received her Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI), and GPA Approved Trainer status from the Grant Professionals Association. In 2015, Ms. Miller received the GPCI Presidential Award for contributions to the profession by founding GrantChat, a long-standing weekly Twitterchat. Jo currently serves on the Lead and Environmental Hazard Association board and serves on National Safe and Healthy Housing Coalition Policy and Grassroots Taskforce.
