Contributors Sarah Ingram, CFRE Sarah is the Director of Philanthropy for the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, supporting a large regional hospital north of Toronto. She brings over 20 years of philanthropy and senior level volunteer experience, including: major gifts, capital campaigns, board leadership and governance, events management and mentorship. Sarah is a long-time member of AHP, AFP, she is a founding member of the AFP Central Ontario chapter, and a member of the Canadian Government Relations Committee. As a senior level volunteer, Sarah understands the investment made by volunteers and the success that can be achieved when everyone is properly prepared for action. Sarah and her husband have two young boys, they enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming and other outdoors sports. Jamie Campbell, CFRE, bCRE Jamie lives and works in Central Ontario, and is currently the Personal Giving Officer at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation in Barrie. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Laurentian University, before going on to Post-Graduate studies in Counselling Psychology and Ethics at Athabasca University’s Graduate School of Applied Psychology. After this, he completed the Fundraising Management program at Seneca College, before achieving his CFRE credential in 2016. Jamie owned and operated an event design and coordination company in the private sector for twelve years, before transitioning to the nonprofit sector in 2011. He worked in events and stewardship related roles with the hospital foundation until December of 2016, when he accepted his current position. Jamie believes that events, when planned and executed appropriately, can play a central role in an integrated fundraising and donor engagement strategy. He is a self-proclaimed data geek, an avid kayaker and his two favorite words are “thank you”.
